Stracincica is almost entirely covered with olive groves. Due to the good insolation and poor rainfall, olive oil from this region has an exceptional quality. The aerial view of this area is breath taking, revealing a braided network of stone walls. Gentle hills, like ocean waves slowly climb and descend down to a deep sheltered bay. In the middle of the bay there is a pebble beach and other beaches are rocky and partly paved. The bay is facing south, which is on inside of the Vela Luka Bay, with views of the horizon and the island Kamenjak. From Vela Luka it is situated between 6 and 7 km away and reachable by road, which mostly ends into gravel road. Homes are mostly with large gardens, which give guests the atmosphere of privacy, but not isolation.
