The deep bay of Žukova is 6 km away from Vela Luka, which the last part of the road is macadam. The bay is facing the island of Hvar and surrounded by a pine forest. In the cove there are a few houses that in the past served as a safe shelter in case of bad weather for fishermen. Today they are adapted to accommodate guests who want peace and solitude, and to enjoy nature. The last part of the road is a macadam in the length of about 500 meters. The road ends 100 meters before the sea, which ensures peace. All houses housed in Žukova bay are Robinson type and do not have electricity from the city grid, but electricity is supplied with solar power.
